Having had time to reflect and sleep on it I would like to apologise to absolutely fookin' nobody. 🤣

I guess there is an expectation influence on how players are viewed. Malcolm from non league I expected to be average, so if he does something well it would be a positive.

Having heard how Orford is the second coming of Jesus for weeks I expected him to be amazing, so whilst he had a good debut, it was a bit like "oh is that it".

That is not to say Orford is rubbish, far from it. He was clearly better than the Palace U21s. My reaction was more to people suggesting he is a better option than White currently.
