That's all well and good but we also can't afford to miss all that often.
My concern may be completely misplaced, and if we have made a profit on Pressley, or the move has allowed us to do some creative accounting then fair enough. It may have just been a case of if he proved his fitness then another team were bound to come in for him.
But I don't think it is just hindsight which allows us to conclude that he didn't suit us. At no point last season did it look like Revs was going to use him or play to his strengths. So I do question the process and how much influence the manager has, I always prefer it that way than a transfer committee or a "non-football" person leading the decisions on players to bring in.
I'm sure it is nowhere near as bleak as I am making it out to be, and I am happy to buy in to what the club are doing. It is just very difficult to watch a revolving door of players and not have full transparency on how it is playing into our long-term plan.
Such is the life of a football fan these days I guess. Gone are the days of transfer fees (and even contract lengths) being reported. I shall just sit back and try to enjoy the football on offer rather than concern myself with off-field matters

So when do we think the kits will be released?
