That's why shorter contracts are part of our business model.
Year 1 if we're stuck with an expensive squad we try to bounce straight back or sell the high earners to offset the lost revenue.
Year 2 we have a smaller squad, use the kids a bit more and a reduced wage bill to minimise losses.
