There were two occasions where he was insanely slow coming out, that nearly led to them scoring, and his communication with the backline also caused issues on numerous occasions (which Evans said led to their goal, but then said no blame is to be apportioned for it). They are things that cannot be blamed on the conditions, they were basics and were him not reading the action/being too hesitant. Taye is very quick and very good at coming out.

Don't get me wrong, I am fully aware he is a very good keeper, I have seen it many times, but he was very poor last night and poor at Wigan (was good against Blackpool), and is not an improvement on Taye. Plus I just don't see what Taye has done to be replaced, there is no reason for it, and even less reason to do so with a loanee. There simply has to be more to it.
