A quick Trip down Memory Lane

Seeing Kingfield Ender’s post the other day stirred up memories for me, some sad, some great, many nostalgic. Those great home and away games with Wokingnil. Supporters then who have sadly gone, fantastic forum contributors and that electric banter which was so much part of the game then. People like much missed Mook, as well as Andy C , Statto the Langford Gents but there were many, many more. I remember Lighthouse acting the goat at Cambridge, and Woking’s goalie being tormented by us at the old North Stand and the persecution of certain managers who for all the right reasons should remain nameless now.

Who of us will ever forget us at a reborn Wembley and that game! Magic memories for sure.
Me, today, I am limited to attending Boro games given that my sons have departed to the far corners of the Earth and getting about isn’t quite what it used to be. But they are both always quick to talk about a game, a player and those of you on the forum who have they say ‘naff’ opinions. So don't doubt their affections. All is well with the Boro' story as it should be told but those memories, yes well in a quiet moment we will say “Way to go’ Boro.

Thank you all for indulging me, I will be at the Lamex be sure of that. It’s not by any means all over yet. Ciao (a la MooK)
