12 matches to go, Notts County away this Saturday, thoughts?

Last weekend's 4-1 win was a very important result and performance, keeping the gap to 15 points between ourselves and the bottom two, also putting us on a comfortable 42 points. A lot of us said after the win last Saturday that we've now got to follow that big win up with good consistent results, something that we've found hard to do the last 4 months. So this Saturday, a tough match, one which I'd take a point, a big negative IMO has been the amount of draws we've had away from home, only 2. With just 5 or 6 of those losses turned into draws, we'd be up to 12th and nearly 20 points clear of the drop. Having said that, the last time we had back to back wins this season was at the end of September, so to win Saturday would surely spur the players on for the last 11.

Team Selection?
I liked the look of the setup we played last week, Johnny Goddard and Kenners supporting Danny up top as a 3, the midfield working very well as a unit and the back four looking much better, also with Joe Martin back in the team to add more experience at the back. I would play the same team, but, not the same formation. I would play a 4-5-1 formation with Goaddard and Kenners tucked in on the wide role when defending, just to close up the gaps in the middle.

Hopefully the players have come on a lot in training this week and are buzzing after last Saturday's win, I'll go for a 1-1 draw ;). But, I wouldn't be surprised if we won there on Saturday.

Very much looking forward to it, hopefully we can finish the season strong and creep up the table, COYB! :)
