I think the majority of our problems come from poor decision making on the pitch. How you teach that I don't know but I bet Westley does.

The players are good enough ability wise, they just try and do the wrong thing most of the time. Wilmot for someone so young makes good decisions most of the time. He knows when to get rid, when to get get Right, when to back off, where to go.

McKee also tends to make the right pass.

Pett, Kennedy and to some extent Newton tend to make the wrong ones either not seeing simple passes or trying extravagant things, shooting when they shouldn't and not shooting when they should.

Smith can only pass backwards so his decision process is pretty simple.

Godden isn't getting the same service as last year because of the others making the wrong decisions.
