If I was asked to describe a typical shitty Conference wet windy night game, tonight would be it. First half wasn't very good, second half from us was abysmal, the worst I've seen in a fair while. Crawley won't be in the EFL next season if that's a typical performance. They were as bad as us.

Bar our goal, which I bloody missed, there was no entertainment beyond the first 5 minutes.

Credit to the singers for keeping going, badly, but they kept singing long after I'd given up even muttering to myself.

Toner was easily our best player. Terence had a solid debut too. Those are my positives.

Sarll suggesting we were trying to play football (made some vague Barcelona Vs West Brom reference in his 3CR post match interview too, the cheeky bastard) had me wondering what game he was watching. It was hoof into the channels, rinse and repeat, for about 75 of the 90 minutes interspersed with lots of sitting down and the odd Kennedy glory seeking effort onto the A602. The only passing we really did was sideways, slowly in our own half, or to them.

Never mind. We didn't lose.
